ADIRONDACK IMAGE

PROFILE:

Adirondack Image is a collection of Photos that I have taken over a period of 15 years.  Although I am still adding to this collection, much of the work is from the "Adirondack Park" of New York State.  The Adirondacks are a State Forest preserve that was enacted by legislation on May 15, 1885.  A land that is declared "Forever Wild".  The Adirondack Park is the largest park in the lower 48 states.

The tradition continues.  All photography is traditional from the camera to the final print.

The Cameras that I use are medium format, which give sharp detail, and brilliant colors.  The color photos  are printed at a custom lab that I have been using for years.  The Black and White photos I print and tone myself.  The photos are then mounted on a foam core with an acid-free Mat board. The mat colors either of off white or green, look nice on all color photos.  When framed with an honey-oak wood frame, or gold metal frame will make the artwork beautiful.   Black and Whites are sometimes sepia toned to give an old character look to them. All B@Ws come with an off white mat .

Many of the photos on view have won ribbons at art shows over the years.  The popularity of them made me       decide to have them available to the public through this website.
